All hands working Structure Fire – Coronet Foods “A”
Wheeling Firefighters were called to Coronet Foods, in the Fulton Area near Generations Pub, for a report of structure fire. Firefighters found heavy fire through the roof of a 2 story ordinary construction building. There was extension into the structure on the Delta side. Firefighters made an aggressive interior attack and made a good stop. Ladder 1 setup their bucket and crews advanced to the roof of the exposure building on the Delta side to perform overhaul.

PSF 3510 Eoff St.
Wheeling Firefighters responded to a report of a possible structure fire at 3510 Eoff St. in South Wheeling on Friday evening. Engine 4 arrived on scene with smoke showing. Firefighters made entrance to the house and found food on the stove. The fire was knocked down with a water-can and crews used positive pressure ventilation to remove the smoke from the house.

Wheeling Firefighters were dispatch to a report of a possible structure fire with an occupant trapped inside. Rescue 1, Engine 2, Engine 5, Ladder 1, Squad 2 and C-3 responded to the incident. Rescue 1 arrived on scene with a 2 story row house with smoke showing. A crew immediately entered the house to search and found the person on the floor near the living room.The fire was contained to furniture and was an easy stop firefighters. There was no fire extension. Crews ventilated and took up. The patient was treated on the scene and immediately transported to the hospital

2nd Alarm Structure Fire
Wheeling Firefighters were called to 48 Joan St. in the Fulton area of Woodsdale, for a report of a house fire with possible entrapment. Engine 10 came on scene and found a house fully involved with extension into a vacant house on the Delta exposure. C-2 made the incident a 10-96 or “All hands working.” Later the incident became a 2nd alarm. Recorded dispatch audio coming soon.

Wheeling Firefighters were called to the area of 43rd and Jacob Sts in South Wheeling on Wednesday evening for a report of a structure fire. Engine 4 arrived and reported that there was heavy smoke coming from the house and all the residents were out. Duty Chief C-2 called in the 10-96 for an “All hands working” fire and asked for a third engine company. Crews found heavy smoke in the basement and first floors and crews extinguished the fire on both floors. They made an aggressive interior attack and quickly knocked it down, while checking for extension.
